It is my pleasure to serve as Managing Director of Lumics GmbH & Co KG since May 2024. Previously I held interdisciplinary positions in the Lufthansa Group for over 13 years. Most recently, as CEO and Accountable Manager of Airfoil Services Sdn Bhd, I headed the Center of Excellence for Hi-Tech Repairs on Engine Blades with over 500 employees in Malaysia.​

Before joining the Lufthansa group in 2011, I gained experience in production and maintenance of aeroengines at Rolls-Royce as well as at MTU Maintenance​.

Wolfgang holds a degree in aviation and aerospace engineering and has 20 years of professional experience in various management positions worldwide for organizations in the fields of aviation and aerospace engineering, automotive industry, consumer goods, plant engineering and electromobility. His focus was on project management, purchasing, supply chains, logistics and operations. Furthermore, he was significantly involved in organizational development as well as Lean Six Sigma improvement projects and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Over the past seven years, Wolfgang has been active as a partner in the field of restructuring and turnaround management consultation, where he was responsible for process optimization along the value chain in various industrial sectors. He has been a Principal at Lumics since 2019.

Henrik has more than 30 years of professional experience in the areas of production, repair and administration. Henrik was a manager for more than ten years, during which time he gained his qualification as a business trainer, process facilitator (coach) and OKR Master. He obtained his master craftsman’s certificate in precision mechanics from the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts in 2000. Prior to this, he worked in the medical and mechanical engineering industry as a mechanic in customer service for several years.

Christian Wybierek

Christian earned his degree in industrial engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig. He then worked for seven years as a consultant in the field of business reorganization. During that time, he was involved in around 15 lean implementation initiatives in over ten successful company reorganization projects. Subsequently, he was responsible for supply chain management as well as production planning and control as deputy operations manager for a manufacturer of sensor technology, initiating an overhaul of its manufacturing processes.
Christian has been with Lumics since 2019, successfully conducting transformation programs across multiple industries from aviation to supply chain logistics. His focus is on achieving the most economically viable optimization of value creation, which is reflected in his extensive professional experience predominantly in the operational fields of production, asset management, procurement, and logistics.

Frederik attended the San Diego State University in California on a tennis scholarship, where he received his bachelor’s degree and MBA in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Additionally, he completed his master’s in “Digital Business Management & Engineering” in January 2022. Since embarking on a professional career in consulting, Frederik has worked primarily on Operational Excellence in value-adding processes, for which he leverages methods and tools from areas such as Lean Management, the Toyota Production System, Agile/Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma. As of January 2023, Frederik is certified in SAFe Agile and proficient in applying agile methodologies in order to manage administrative and operational projects in volatile environments.

Johannes has professional experience in the areas of: Maintenance, Engineering, Marketing and Training. He is a mechanical engineer and aircraft electronics technician. During the bachelor studies, he was focusing on Component Engineering. As a project manager he was responsible for the conception and execution of technical trainings for an automotive manufacturer within the premium segment.

In 2020, Naiba successfully completed her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on construction at the Technical University of Cologne. Afterwards, she began a part-time master’s program in mechanical engineering with a specialization in digital production, earning her degree within one and a half years. This enabled her to gain in-depth knowledge of issues surrounding digitalization. Additionally, she obtained the GreenBelt-certification and has already internalized the Lean philosophy through practical application.

David Marten

Driving change with passion

David studied International Business with a focus on change management in the dual system at ALDI Süd. He then worked for KPMG for a year and earned his M.Sc. in International Business at the University of Barcelona. During his studies, he intensively dealt with sustainable supply chain management and regulations in the context of sustainability. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant at Capgemini Engineering. There he managed and worked in various projects in the aviation industry and in the topic of process optimization.
